2014+ RAM 2500 owners: have you stopped the sway?

Starting with the 2014 model year, RAM 2500 trucks went to rear coil springs instead of the usual leaf springs one might expect to find. This makes for quite a lot of sway with a TC in the bed.

I'm looking for constructive conversation, not rants about how much this truck sucks or why we should get rid of it. Please and thank you 🙂

Short of getting another truck, have any of you improved the ride? Air bags, adjustable shocks, multiple shocks, animal sacrifice? What have you done, and what difference has it made?

For us, in good weather we can do 65-70mph until the sway hits, then dropping 10mph usually makes the sway go away. That said, the sway is enough that it'll consistently make the fridge go out if running it on propane.

Factory stock truck right now with just over 100k on the clock.

Firmer shocks can help also. Don't know about your Dodge but the OEM shocks GM puts on are intended to give a nice ride during the sales test drive, not with a camper loaded. Doesn't help with the lean on corners but does help dampen the side to side rock once you straighten out.

Hellwig Bigwig anti-sway bar made a huge difference for my 2015 Chevy
2500 SRW, long bed, 4X4.

Put it on myself in about 2 hours. Perfect fit.

Yes for sway need a sway bar-
if it has one get a heavier replacement -
if it doesn't have one ensure you get needed sway bar end links.
If something that seems to have gotten worse might also need shocks if factory- wont stop sway but do help control it .
Whether it will have any effect on fridge blowing out unknown, simply never heard that before, any correlation to fridge and sway.

First off, I don't have a Dodge, however I had sway issues and I pretty much solved/mitigated the problems with upgraded sway bars.
I got Hellwig sway bars from SD Truck springs, bought them on line and came right to the door. The tech help at SD is pretty good, and they will help you on choosing the correct sway bar for your truck.
Night and day difference with the new sway bars.
Just trying to help address sway... not the truck

How about an aftermarket anti away or anti roll bar?
