2014 Wolfcreek 850 Roof Maintenance

I added my externabond to seams, fans and skylights when the camper was brand new and the roof was still clean. The dicor didn't have time to experience any deterioration from the sun and the externabond claims to last 12 years like the roof. My peace of mind is that I'm pretty bulletproof. There are always going to be exceptions but I tend to not worry about my roof which gives me extra time to worry about other things that might fail.

The roof should last a lot longer than 12 years, I was a roofing contractor and PVC and TPO roofs had a lifetime warranty

Any seams where you have penetrations for vents and skylights and anything else should be periodically resealed. Dicor self leveling sealant works best along with Kleen Strip industrial maintenance coating thinner. Dicor at most RV supply places and Kleen Strip at Home Depot.

Lots of articles on the internet on how to best due this and tips like the ice cube trick for smoothing out the bead.

These areas are where even a slight leak can lead to very expensive repairs so it is something to stay on top off (no pun intended).

Just try and keep it out of the sun as much as you can. Also, if you are putting a ladder on be very careful when walking around on the roof. I usually go barefoot.
