Don't think to many are on the road yet but they sure have tons of HP. Tic, Tic, Tic. That CP.4 must really be cranked up IMO along with the better turbo.
AFAIK they have made some changes to the CP 4.2 pump for the 2015 versus what was in the vehicles from 2011 - 2014.
Exactly what changed, that I am not sure of. But I have read a few articles, all saying some changes to the CP 4. Appears one may be a longer piston stroke compared to the older models.
There won't be any good changes to a Bosch CP 4.1 or 4.2 HPFP until it's fully retired and out of the lineup and Bosch comes up with a 5 series. Any cam roller that can rotate in the bore and no longer stay trued up to the cam is a defective and deficient design, in my book.
Delphi came up with, designed and patented a Roller Shoe Follower to negate the Bosch CP 4.X series design flaws.
Shoe roller follower prevents catastrophic "self aligning" HPFP failures on Bosch CP 4.X series of pumps on Ford and GM trucks.
