2015 Ford F150 Desert Testing

Wow.. the new F150 made it 500 miles without breaking... at off road at that... Not so sure this is a positive video... "gee folks, the new F150 can drive 500 miles off road without breaking.. woohoo...yea Ford!'

And I am a Ford guy too... this video kinda has me scratching my head from a marketing standpoint.

F150 with new body looks pretty neat though.

Yep, I still think that Ford will have class leadership in the half-ton ring when it comes to the chassis. I truly appreciated that stiff frame when driving on logging roads and nasty washboards. It's the appreciation for that frame strength that made me buy my current RAM. I just hope that Ford decides to update their super duty chassis similarly (They already have the engine and transmission), as they always talk-up frame strength and durability in the half ton segment.
