It was never intended as a tow vehicle or camper hauler, it is marketed to the urban poser who thinks he wants a truck but has no real use for it other than to pick up the occasional shrub at the nursery. It is all about average fleet fuel economy ratings and bragging rights in ads. Without it they would not be able to flog as many Hemis in trucks
