I can see them possibly putting a 5 liter Ecoboost into a Super Duty, if they ever create one. I don't believe they will put the 3.5 in them unless something drastic happens with CAFE regulations. I never believed the story told to me by a supposed GM insider back in 2011. he mentioned that the last pickup trucks sold to the general public would be in 2016. After that, he said only Farmers, Fleet customers, and small business owners would be allowed to purchase them. His reasoning was that the Gov't wanted to literally force people into cars and small CUV type vehicles to satisfy CAFE regulations. So glad he was wrong. Such an occurence would reduce the RV industry to motor homes and pop-up trailers.
Naa, we would all just start looking at CanAm RV's Philosophies on towing with a little bit more of an open mind.
Thanks!

That's right, Jeremiah. Thank you for reminding me. How silly to forget them. Any vehicle they modify can suddenly (and safely :R) tow 65,000 lbs. :B
Maybe not 65,000 lbs..but in 40 years they have set up thousands of cars to tow 3-8500 ish lb aerodynamic and good handling trailers. (Not just Airstreams either) While I have seen some combos from CanAm that were interesting to say the least a lot of their philosophy on tow vehicle dynamics is dead on.
I digress,
We would all get creative with RV'ing if we couldn't get big trucks anymore. Which was the comment I was responding to.
Thanks!
