I bought the 3rd place truck in 2012. It's still the only truck I have in 2017. Guess coming in last isn't so bad. 1st, 2nd or 3rd it really makes no difference when you're out on a trip. Even if I had the fastest or most popular truck out there, I'm still limited by the sign on the side of the road that says 55, 65, 70 mph, or the guy that loves sitting in his car a lot so he drives real slow and there's no room to pass. I'm 64 years old and have never in my life ever actually raced someone to the CG. :)
I purchased an also ran candidate truck in 2008 and it is still running in 2017 contrary to the naysayers. Ironically, it is white and has an odd similarity to a McD.L.T. box. :B - goducks10ExplorerI bought the 3rd place truck in 2012. It's still the only truck I have in 2017. I find this kind of odd. Last year TFL Truck awarded the Chevy Duramax the title in the HD market. So this year Chevy gets 50 more hp and 150 lb ft of torque and the unchanged from 2016 Ram now gets the title. I guess the new Duramax is a step backwards.
The Truck of the Year award goes to, the truck you bought and makes you happy. Not the award giver who is happy with more sponsor $$$$$!!:B - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIJust wait til 2019. Will be very interesting.

- jmtandemExplorer IIRam has come a very long way in the last ten or twelve years. No surprise about it winning the heavy duty category.
