2018 F250 Powerstroke Ike Guantlet

Easily towed it with basically identical times to the other two 3/4 ton diesel trucks and only one brake tap on the way down. It was easily able to keep the speed limit with power to spare just like the other two as well. The only negative thing I noticed was that the squat is more noticeable than the other two. I can see why it is probably best to get the camper package with it's added springs on the F250 or just go up to an F350.

    I thought Ford's soft springs were supposed to be a thing of the past with the chassis in the new Super Duty? Bags or timbrens would be a real easy fix so I'd have to say it's not a big deal in my book. The performance going up and down the grade is what I'd expect of any of the current diesels...they're just awesome.

    They are all so close now on power, performance, reliability, features, and looks that there is no reason to buy one over the other except for which one appeals to you more.

    Thanks for sharing.... Impressive truck

    I'll take mine in a F350 King Ranch with the chrome package and chrome bumpers. They're a jewel.

    Maybe it’s time for a new era of peace, love, and understanding.. where owners of the Big Three can put aside their differences, and come together with unity and purpose... to hate on Nissan and Toyota? :)

    I believe that is what my father-in-law ordered. It should be here next week according to his dealership's last email they sent him.

    I guess magnetic grey performs much better than white. If I remember correctly they were terribly disappointed in the white one last year.

    I wonder if the softer springs give a better ride empty? About the camper package, on my '91 model it included a rear sway bar that messed up the empty ride and hurt traction on lumpy ground. That truck taught me why people disconnect sway bars on rough terrain. The heavier springs were a separate option back then.
