- LIKE2BUILDExplorerI find it interesting how quickly aftermarket enhancements become OEM. I have the exact same extending bumper step on my '04 that I installed myself. Now those identical steps seem to be an option on the new RAM. I guess they got the hint that all owners aren't 6'6" and most of us need something to make getting in and out of the bed easier.
Ford's integrated tailgate step was a great idea. These folding steps work just about as well so I'm glad to see RAM taking it in-house.
KJ - K-9_HANDLERExplorerX2 for the flatbed
but nice marketing though
most everyone I know has white light duty trucks in 3/4 ton and over for farm use
bought at commercial dealers with either service bodies or flat beds
for half ton runners colors are all over the place
wonder how many of these will actually go to real farms - Turtle_n_PeepsExplorerTroy you have no idea how hard I'm laughing.
Living in the Nor Cal "Emerald Triangle" area now all the "growers" around here are going to buy these things and put some 22's on them and drive around and look cool! Good stuff! - Dave_H_MExplorer IIChecking the wx at Virginia beach?
Oh well I guess it would be kinda neat for picking up chicks (the ones without feathers of course).
By the way Fish, my pappy always said that you can get more corn in a crooked row. Think about it. :h - austingtaExplorer

I never intended to mean the bale spear would be on the front. They are usually on, or made into, the bed.
Of course. It's just a funny image! - DodgeVoltageExplorerI never intended to mean the bale spear would be on the front. They are usually on, or made into, the bed.
- austingtaExplorerPut a big wet bale on that front spear and the rear end will pop right up.

How about bed rail boxes, an integrated round bale spear, higher class hitch, front wench, or even a factory flat bed with head ache rack? I'm kind of joking, but kind of not. As a farmer, it would be cool to have a factory set up ready to go truck. Plus, they forgot Allis-Chalmers orange!
Is "front wench" a faux pas or was it on purpose? A lot funnier if it was deliberate. The bale spear might have difficulty passing pedestrian safety standards.
The bale spear on the front rather than rear could have other uses: Deer, drivers parking in the left lane, ... - Ron3rdExplorer III

Great, I'm still trying to figure out the differrence between Laramie and Big Horn. Where does this fit in?
Had to laugh at "Farmers want connectability and Apple car play".
Yeah, as a farmer that would be tops on my list.
Difference in Laramie and Big Horn is about 5 grand - RubiranchExplorerthat blue is butt ugly
