2020 SportTrek 312VRK -noisy converter elec box/panel

Thoughts? I have a 2020 Sporttreck 312 VRK. From day one he fuse box area/converter have been so noisy we cannot have one single light on at night. The box is in the bedroom. With no lights on we can have a peaceful sleep. Turn on one light and it starts revving up. Turn off the light and it stops almost immediately. I turned the battery off and the revving is much quieter almost gone but then the lights were flickering. When it first happened I called the dealer and they didn’t seem to act like they understood. Anyone else with this issue or a solution?

    Hi,

    Sounds as if the oem battery is toast. Take it for a load test.

    If the battery is good look for loose connections. Sounds like piano tuna got it though.

    I don't know if a bad battery is causing the excessive charging, but the noise is probably coming from the cheap cooling fan in the converter. I replaced mine with a ball bearing fan that cost $.73 more. Yes, they go after every penny.
