2021 Ford F-150 hybrid
Seen it can tow up to 14,000# and the electric motor can act as a generator producing between 2.4-7.2 kilowatts depending on configuration. Sounds like a good match for RV owners.

Just what I read the in news so take it for what's it worth.- It appears that the hybrid is good for 12,700lbs and the 14,000lbs rating is for the non-hybrid drive train.

Until I see it in the towing handbook I am going to take the numbers with a grain of salt.
The HO version of the 3.5 used in the Raptor and Limited is missing from the charts but the standard version is up to 400hp while the hybrid is at 430hp. Presumably for just a short burst though with only a 1.5kwh battery. I would like to see it with at least a 10kwh battery. jdc1 wrote:

I will be much more impressed if the payload package is more obtainable and can be combined with the higher towing ratings. It has been almost impossible to get for the last 6 years and required seemingly unrelated compromises if you did special order it. Groover wrote:

That's a shame. They are missing out on a great opportunity in an wide open market segment. Imagine the wife driving the kids to school everyday. Imagine driving to work every day.....and charging for free with your rooftop solar. You could average 75mpg! You'd save enough on gas for that two week camping trip every year. And, your gasoline motor would only be working 1/4 the time......lasting forever!- 3325lb payload. Wow, man Ford really is leading the way here.

Yep, I'm more interested in the real world payload capacity numbers, NOT towing capacity numbers. Especially with a big heavy battery in it.
