3" receiver on new 2017 SD = stinger is easy now?
Anybody tried it yet? I just found that my new truck has 3" receiver with 20k rating. I think I can buy 3" tubing and make good stinger very cheap.

I don't think the stinger is the only factor. If it is going to be short like mine, I don't think it matters. I think you have to consider the total system which includes the truss and also the hitch.
