3" receiver on new 2017 SD = stinger is easy now?
Anybody tried it yet? I just found that my new truck has 3" receiver with 20k rating. I think I can buy 3" tubing and make good stinger very cheap.

CURT is very respectful manufacturer and if they design extension without the chains, I assume it is well tested.
All those receivers are always coming with play and I am pretty skeptic about those gizmos with 2 small bolts holding 8000 lb receiver.
Still there is no such thing as too much protection and I have seen lot of older receivers where the holes become oval from the small play wearing out over the years.
I am thinking about adding cables, what will save chain weight and avoid shocks on turns.
