$1300.00 for s step is insane

We bought one of these (or one similar) and ended up using it as a step so our dog can jump up on the couch easier. Um... it was just a little over $100.00 (One hundred).

For the OP. Etrailer is a good source to start with. Check with your RV dealer too.

  • Love my glowsteps, mentioned above.

If you were closer to east Tennessee, I'd give you a great deal on my old steps.

When I first got my 2008 Starcraft 14RT which only had a two step setup and it was a long way to the ground coming off the bottom step since my trailer has the 15-wheel setup on it. My fix was to purchase one of these HD grated folding steps for AMAZON. It can sit folded up as the bottom step which is generally the way I use it. Sometimes it requires to fold our it's short legs to make it tad higher of the ground.

It actually was a blessing for us with the very heavy duty grate construction as we can stomp the heck out of it before tracking leaves and other being out in the woods things on our boots...

  • If they are bolt on and you want to just replace them without "adapting" to mount something different, check the original manufacturer's website for a distributor.
  • Check out Torklifts Glowstep Revolution. They are extremely solid and well built. Once deployed there is no movement when someone walks up them.
  • Don't know about best, but etrailer.com carries several types.
