Car dealers know you use the internet. The dealer invoice has nothing to do with the cost of the car they are trying to sell you.

I find $9-$10k off sticker is quite common but these people that tell you they got $14k off sticker may be stretching the truth..

For every person who gets $12-14k off a new diesel, there are 10 who paid much closer to sticker.
Buncha factors go into whether you can get that screaming deal or not. I'm like most of you here and wouldn't even consider buying new unless I got a "deal."
But realize your going to have to work for the deal. Either flying X country or lots of haggling, or not the favorite color and options, etc. (unless uou live next door to Dave Smith, lol).
Just prepare to be disappointed and idk if cash gets you the best out he door price as the mfgs consider interest on a car loan profit too.
I walked in with cash on a new truck in 06, cut a deal, went and got the bank check and the dealer stalled me for 8 more hours and then welched on the deal. So be prepared to get pissed off and or disappointed to get the deal in a lot of cases.

Invoice minus incentives is a good deal. Any better, that's great!
Here is mine.
Does that say 66 or 56? If that's 66 you got hosed.

🙂 Hi, no numbers here, but I got a good deal on my new truck. Most importantly, I got all of the specs and options that I requested. My truck was located in a different state. Many special deals are what is on the lot and not what I want.

I paid right at 43 for mine and it stickered for right at 51. It took a couple of weeks to get them to agree. I also talked them into linex the bed, 2 free oil changes, window tint and switching out the mirrors for towing mirrors. I have heard of people getting better deals by going to the dealerships mentioned above.

In these forums you will quickly find out that no matter what you paid or what you bought you could have bought something much better for a much lower price. If the truck was made of solid gold and the dealer offered to pay you to take it, someone here will tell you they got a much better deal.
LOL, I don't think truer words have been spoken on this site!:B
Every buyers situation is unique and ones deal has many variables. This past October purchased a 2015 Dodge Ram 3500 CTD long bed 4x4 crew cab dually Laramie Longhorn loaded including Alcoa wheels. Had a window sticker of $67,748. We were just a few days from cross country trip and my old 2006 Dodge 2500 CTD 4x4 truck needed a new transmission. Even though truck was paid off been nickel and diming this truck for past 2 years. 5.9 engine is great but everything else was becoming problematic. Got price down to 60,000 on the Longhorn before rebates and loyalty discount. Also got a good trade for my 2006 that needed a new tranny. Got a very good deal considering.
