6 WAY ROUND TO 7 WAY BLADE PIGTAIL
I just got a new to me, 97 Dodge Ram 2500 to pull my 20' TT. Unfortunately the plug on the bumper is a 6 way round. So what are my options : Should I pull it off and install a new 7 blade plug ?...

On both my F350's, I installed all 3 of the most common style trailer connections: 7-way blade RV, 6-way round utility, and 4-way flat utility. I tow trailers using all 3 styles of connector, with both trucks. It's simpler for me to have all 3 styles on each truck, instead of using adapter harnesses. I also keep 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls on ball mounts, in both trucks. :)
