It was just as one of you said, as soon as we got there the folks behind us ran over to watch it go up! I've seen a few newer ones at the campground over the last 20 years but not many.Another camper asked if they could see inside and was curious about it as well.
I pulled it home while my husband pulled our 22 ft.deck boat which sways mnore. It was so easy, like almost nothing back there except watching for the length. We had to go up and down a mountain with some steep curves too!
The AC cord had been replaced and redone so that probably did happen at one time.
I will post pictures soon as soon as I can get pics without all our junk in it...:)
I can not find one picture of a vintage hi lo on all the "vintage campers" sites on FB to get an idea, but I am going to paint it white on the inside to lighten it up. Those black countertops will be the first to go. Ugh.......just can't stand that. I will try to find the site on yahoo...thanks.
We're used to a 35 ft 5th wheel but we really liked it. It was big enough to have what we really needed and small enough to get into any site and easy to pull. I think we are just going to keep both and use it for quick weekends get a ways. My grown son loves it and mentioned it would be so easy to take in a cross country trip. haha.
