Actually, Host made some in Bend, Or. I know because I was at the factory while they were building the first ones.
They did say that production was going to Australia.
I have a bunch of pictures I took, if I can find them I will post.

Plenty of folks on here have a heart attack when someone mentions towing a med size TT with a mid size SUV, or something like the iveco with the 20’ TC and a big boat in tow.

I wish we could get the Travel Trailers that are built for the Australian market over here in the U.S. They look to be very stout units that are built to take the abuse of the Australian bush. Can you imagine what the shipping costs would be to cross the pond? I got an ARB Bull Bar for the front of my pickup after I hit my 3rd deer at 75 mph causing $13,500 in damage. I paid a pretty premium for that monster that was built in Australia. I KNOW the shipping took up a good portion of it's cost but it is a beast that is second to none. Quality stuff, the Aussies build.
They are primarily Camper Trailers, Hybrid Caravans rather .Off Road Caravans that go to roughly 20ft in length
The few that I have seen were hybrids. I imagine this is because of the warmer nature of Australia's climate as well as the lack of aggressive Grizzlies (are there any other kinds?) that are present in some parts of North America. The knowledge that these are made in China kind of knocked the wind out of my sails, though I guess if they're popular in Oz, that's proof enough of their durability for me. Thanks for the post!
Hybrids are a niche Caravan type most Caravans are 20ft plus. No we do not have big hairy Mammals that get upset if you stray into their territory, luckily nothing like that exists
