A/C Failure. Strategies for HOT Weather?

camp by the beach/water..!!!

I don't know if it will help in 100 degree range but from high 80's to low 90's its been a life saver.

come up here....right now it is 47* :)

Hand held spray misters. I saw lots of them at a recent HOT sports event.

Depending on the Relative Humidity where you are parked this may work.

My very adventurous wife & I did our 20th anniversary (in late June) mountain biking in western Colorado. Not the snow covered mountains, but the desert that is indistinguishable from SE Utah. Daytime temps were in the high 90s and we were in a Hallmark pop up. We found that by hanging wet - not dripping - towels inside the windows and exhausting through the Fantastic Vent we got a great swamp cooler effect that dropped the inside temp by 10 - 15 degrees. We did have to re-wet the towels about once an hour.

Strategies for HOT Weather with a camper without A/C?

Keep the fan going. Keep the HI FAN on the A/C blowing. Keep windows open, all the obvious? Tent?

Altitude, higher up, cooler temps, get up around 7-8 thousand feet and you should be good.

Are you sure existing A/C is FUBAR? Have you gone through it already looking for obvious problems? Lack of power, circuit, thermostat?
