I haven't been able to find any manual on this model. Maybe I'll send an email to Dometic. The one inch material I have in place is not tightly woven at all, so air is going through it like it should. The unit is not under waranty anymore so no problem there. And from the amount of dust that was on the fins inside the unit, it cant be any less efficient with the filter installed.
