A new gas engine for GM heavy duty trucks is coming

Well, y'all nailed it! It is literally the best time in history for engine enthusiasts for both gas and diesel.
You can drive to your local dealer and walk away with a 4,5, 6,7, 800 hp gasser, or a diesel with almost 1000ft lbs, or a car that gets 40+mpg everyday. AND they're all relatively relaible.
All the bs, bashing one in favor of the other is either brnad loyalty, envy or inferiority complex, basically.
Bring on the 500hp factory big block trucks! And please put a few in shortbed half tons!
