I am interested in any comments, pro or con, about anyone's experience with Adventurer Truck campers. How do they hold up? Any chronic problems. Customer service, etc.

Thank you,

We are the second owners of our 2007 90FWS which we bought in 2014. It is the same floor plan as the anniversary edition only built as a mirror image ... and without the current colors and upgrades of course. We've only had this one TC but compared to our 1992 Glendale Royal Classic Class C, this unit is well put together, has decent quality materials and has been relatively trouble free. We have some minor delamination that seems to come and go with the seasons. It doesn't cause us trouble or concerns.

From all of the research we did before our TC purchase, the Adventurer line has a good reputation for quality build and materials falling somewhere in the middle of the cost/value spectrum. Overall, the Adventurer line is like a Toyota Camry compared to the Eagle Cap line which is akin to a Lexus RS350.

Besides maintenance items, the only thing that hasn't performed well are the HappiJac legs. I suspect they are just due for a good tear down and greasing which is on this year's to do list. Otherwise, the unit has not cost us much grief or money. Hope this helps

You may have seen this video already but if not I've included it here. We loved the floor plan and open feeling of the Adventurer. We loved the light colored wood in the interior.
However, we found that the very small grey tank had been installed at an angle tilting higher at the rear such that it would never empty completely unless I drove the front of the truck up to the highest point on our Anderson levelers. The tank was only 6 gallons to begin with but in this position the tank always read 1/3 full so we had an actual capacity of 4 gallons. Needless to say, it had to be emptied at least once a day when we were camping. Granted, most other models have much larger tanks so this isn't an issue in that case. We also had an issue with the friction hinge door and Adventurer's warranty policies.

We have a 2006 that is like a tank. In 12 years of ownership we have replaced 2 dome covers. Haven't used it much in the last 2 years, but just bought a boat so more use is in thd books.

We bought a 2013 910FBS last year. Only problem was one of rear jacks was intermittent. You could hit the motor head with your hand and it would start working again. We replaced the motor. So far we like it. Heater works great using dual batteries.

I don't have an Adventurer but see a lot of them around here. I don't like the models that don't have two windows in the cabover - no cross ventilation. The Anniversary Edition they made is beautiful - but didn't like the location of the battery compartment at the front of the camper which looks like it would only be accessible if the camper was off the truck. We had an Alpenlite previously and Adventurer took over its facility in Yakima, WA. Don't see many truck campers in CT - we camped at Housatonic Meadows for years and fly fished - one reason we moved to Wyoming! Have you gone up to the Truck Camper Warehouse in NH? They usually have a pretty good selection of campers to view.
