Air Foil Glue

I got all the parts for Sleepy's airfoil at Lowes although it only comes in 3' lengths now. I have been trying to glue the parts together with PVC glue and it is not sticking. I used cleaner and tried primer. Do I need CPVC glue or something else?

    Another fastening method is pop rivets with washers.

    There are 3 common plastics that are solvent welded, PVC, CPVC, & ABS. Each one has its own glue, CPVC will not weld with PVC or ABS glue and so on. For best result, use the specific glue for the plastic. Or, you can use a universal glue with excellent results.

    Take a head on look at a duck, somewhat streamlined IMHO, then take a head on look, at your truck and TC, not much resemblance to a duck is there? More like the flat side of a house. I have used the bug/rock deflectors on the front of a truck hood before and they work for that purpose. But they mess up the air flow behind then so far as the windshield wipers and washer spray are concerned.
