OK, you didn't think my post was helpful, the truth hurts, so how about this:
The OP is trying to make an F250 do the job that should be done by an F350 Dually. As to softer ride, these are Trucks after all and more than likely the hard ride is a result of the Rubber Snubbers sitting on the axles or so close that any bump and they hit. Want a soft ride, get one of those Lincoln or Caddy make believe trucks.
I am not a card carrying member of the weight Police, but there are limits on TVs and to tell someone that it's fine to exceed the limits to me is totally irresponsible.
