Airlift 5000 bags

I bought a set of these rear bags to put on my 2002 F350. Anyone install tips they want to share?

Thanks!
  • I think I would leave them on just in case you had a air line or bag rupture it would still support your weight until repairs made. JMHO.
  • Thanks cmeade.

So I've seen some remove the overload spring when installing bags. Any advantage/disadvantage of doing this?
  • After getting them in place and before tightening the bolts jack your truck frame and take the weight off suspension. Tighten the mount bolts and let truck back down on ground. Installer said it aligns them at full travel. Did it on my Ram and they work great.
