Sarah and I saw this 1933 Kozy Kamp Pop-Up Trailer at the Montana Auto Museum in Deer Lodge.

From the Kozy Kamp brochure
    A Home Behind Your Car
    Light, strong, compact, low-hung.
Open into comfy home in 90 seconds.
    Roomy beds for four adults.
    Beds open automatically with Kamp.
    Carries all baggage and supplies.
Follows car smoothly at any speed.
Allows clear rear view of traffic.
    Saves you dollars every night

Some of the specifications:
    List Price: $295
    Weight: 950 pounds
    Trailer Body Size: 28" x 48" x 84"
    Tent: 7' x 10' open, 76" head room

If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend the museum of classic cars. On the same dime, you can also tour the Montana Prison Museum.

On edit: Changed the '1033' in the first sentence to '1933.'

Wow. That's pretty old for any kind of trailer. And a pretty old design that's still being used.

You can still buy that same basic design. I almost did. What year was that?

It is a 1933 Kozy Kamp. I have edited the first post, changing '1033' to '1933.' Not really a fat-fingered mistake; it was more of a tired eyes one.

Hard to imagine NOW but, back in it's day, it was the latest technology! Wow! How things have changed (and yet, remain the same).
