Any conflicts?

Between what I traded in (Minnie Winnie 2351DKS) and a 2015 Arctic Fox 22G?

Will my hitch still work the same on my F-250? It's an Equalizer brand and the new dealer is telling me I'll be fine. Just want to clear it with some non biased opinions.
  • Thank you for your help! I will download the EQ manual like suggested and learn more about the setup.

    Frank,
Download the EQ manual and start from scratch. The manual is very easy to follow and shows how all adjustments are made, you'll probably have to adjust hitch head height on your new truck and you'll need to know how to set up the L Brackets on the trailer to get it right. Lots of Equalizer users on this forum so there's lots of help available if you need it.
  • You should be fine. You have plenty of truck although you may need to make some adjustments on it. Hook it up and see how it looks. Trailer should be level to slightly nose down. Torsion bars should be straight with trailer frame with no more than 3 links dropped from the end of the chains. This allows flex room for the bars when turning so they will not hit the trailer frame. With that set up you probable won't have to drop more than one or two links if you have the 1000# bars.

The Equalizer will be fine as long as the bars are appropriately sized for your trailer. If not, you can get the proper bars separately.
