Any red flags that jump out? Would we be able to spend a week in this while snow skiing in SW Colorado at Christmas? Is the AC strong enough to keep it cold in the Oklahoma Summers? Honestly, any and all thought are much appreciated.
Probably, like me, nobody has seen this particular model. I have looked at other Gulfstreams and they really donโt seem to be better or worse than other manufacturers. Lots of times, it comes down to the individual unit, not who made it.
Brands are brands. If you like the floorplan and the unit has enough storage and the cabinet construction appears as if it will hold up because its real wood screwed in place not particle board with staples and maybe glue, then the rest will depend on the reputation of the dealership. I would research the dealership and the mfg. to see if they honor out of network repair facilities to do warranty work while on the road away from home.
The other thing is your style of camping. If you use rv parks with hookups or if you boondock. Boondockers try to stay away from temperamental 'Girard tankless water heaters' because they use more water when they work, less propane but more water . 'Truma plus' tankless is a better option but its a $1300.00 better option. I prefer the old style 6 gal gas/elec WH. That and the floorplan are two of the things I base my purchase on.
