Tundra Cummins diesel coming in 2016, the same engine premiers in Nissan in 2015. Google it.

I wish mine were a diesel, but I don't drive it enough and I'd probably have problems with it.

I wish mine were a crew cab, but as it is, my "traveling rig" just barely fits in the barn.

I absolutely love my Tundra even though it limited me to lighter campers, but would love nothing more than a DIESEL engine option. Gas mileage hauling the camper/boat is pretty bad with the gas engine.

We love our truck.
Two things we want different on a new one is it will be a crew cab and we want those adjustable pedals.

GM did away with the suicide style rear doors on the 2014 1500s and 2015 HD trucks.

The only thing I don't love about my truck was the sticker shock.... the door sticker, that is.
I thought trucks were made to HAUL.. you know, they have beds designed to put stuff in. I didn't realize that changed to them being designed to TOW.

This is my first HD truck, first RV. I bought an F350 naively thinking it could haul anything.
But everything I liked/ wanted/ chose about my truck kills its hauling capability: the extended cab (for dogs), long bed (to fit more firewood), diesel engine (for power, fuel economy), 4WD (it's my snow commuter). Each choice individually makes sense. Collectively it eats so much of the payload that I'm surprised they still put beds on these things.
Or maybe the problem is that the campers have just gotten way too heavy.

F550 4x4 with Air-ride. Cause it doesn't always have a load, but now it's at least always smooth.

And more important than all of these threads about 'can I carry', and clearly maxed out anyways, is..... Can you stop?

Crew cab; because I like my friends. Flat bed, 'cause p/u beds suck.

Rims that can take better than E rated tires for load carrying and peace of mind.

I guess I am just very simple. I have a 1996 Dodge Club Cab, 2500 2WD, lg bed, 12-valve diesel, Auto trans and limited slip diff. I paid cash for it in 2001, with about 75,000 miles. It now has just over 250,000 miles. I do my own maintenance and mechanical work. I have the fuel system for more HP, and nothing on the engine has ever failed. I had one transmission installed for the increased HP, and had a second installed due to my neglect. I have also upgraded the brake system components, suspension, and made many other changes/mods to set it up as I want. I am okay with my 12.5 MPG with TC and towing my Zuke.

I have no interest in a new truck of any make. If I were to replace my truck, it would be with a 1995 through 1997 Dodge Club cab 12-valve Dsl, prefer a 2500.
