And for those that believe that video of the Ram not being able to climb a curb, I can tell you my '15 F250 is exactly the same way. The traction control nanny takes over and you're done until u switch it off.
Really!
I haven't back over any curbs lately, but I can assure you my Ford truck wouldn't flinch to back over a curb! :B
I drive a 2011 F350 PSD SuperDuty at work and have experienced the same thing with it along with other issues I won't go into at this point. I'm on rough back roads all the time with it, and many times have thought I was going to have to use 4wd low range to get over something. Also used to own a 2009 Ram Dually with the 68rfe, and never had an issue with it in 4 years of ownership. Of course this is RV.net and you can take this with a grain of salt, but it was one of the best shifting transmissions I've owned. Never hesitated to back up or go over anything. Of course I'm biased I guess as I've only got 95k on the Ford and don't know what I'm talking about since I now own a GM truck for my personal rig..........Still driving the Ford at work though so does my experience count??
