Aspen trail 1700BH dealer pick up

Well went to Camper College today at D & D RV, Helena MT. The significant other had already noted her issues on tape seams and corner moldings puckered out and said fix to me. So, I go in and as part of my review, I noticed they were all fixed without asking... and on the outside already noted was a decal replacement, AND, a crack in the countertop, xed for repair or replacement. OK 4 now. I was frankly impressed. They already upped my hitch to an E2 6K from a 4500 With a 10 dollar charge. Exhorbitant... NOT. I'm feeling pretty good. I also had it "lifted" 200 bucks??? From posts here, 400 hundred seems like a norm. Multiple repair mechanical staff told me how much they liked the lift and urged me to go for 15 inch tires/wheels if I could. They don't sell them but got multiple recs for where to go. The sale was unusually laid back, simple no BS, straightforward. I'm feeling pretty good tonight except for the 8 inches of snow I have to blow b4 I bring it home tomorrow. Wish me luck
  • The Endurance look interesting and at about 100 bucks a tire, not bad at all. Now for wheels.

With 15" you can even get some LT tires on the rig or some good ST tires, as well.

LT tires would be a bit overkill for a trailer that small / light.

But for sure go with some 15s. I'd recommend Goodyear Endurance ST tires.
  • Congrats.
Yes, put some good rubber on the wheels. With 15" you can even get some LT tires on the rig or some good ST tires, as well.

Happy trails and I hear you about the snow.....when will it end?
