Aux fuel tank on F-250 6.2

All I can say is on a Ford gas motor if you run a aux like I do you have to run a vent line to the truck system or you will get a Service Engine Soon light on the older trucks or a Open fuel door on the newer ones.

Nowhere did I say I vented to the atmosphere, everything is sealed. The vent line is vented through the vapor recovery line that goes to the main tank. It's the same way I have hooked this tank up to 2 other Ford trucks, this time I added a shutoff solenoid and the time delay. Just used it the other day and it works great.

I have a aux tank combo set up with a pump that pumps into the main tank and yes it's a sealed system and you have to vent the aux tank into the trucks system. I would gravity feed any aux fuel tank gas or diesel.

In his previous post, he said that he vented the aux tank to the atmosphere, but on pic #4 he states that the vent & fuel line tie into the aux tank...so does the tank have two vent lines....one to the fuel filler pipe and another vent on the aux tank to the atmosphere?

Am I missing something here?

Yes, in the picture he vented the aux tank to the main tank, so it remains a sealed system, the aux tank is sealed and vented thru the main tank.
