Barefoots are coming -- bring cash

Barefoot announces that they are coming to the US. Cute trailer, high price:

Barefoot
  • It would have the torque! Do they even have a tow rating?
  • Wonder what the weight is. It would match up nice to a Tesla model S or.X.
  • I was thinking after the past 2 years in our ATC, 4 times across the country. I get lots of questions from fellow rv s and it usually ends up with problems they are having. Not me, the tin can is brutally reliable. So if any industry needs competition it is this one. I say welcome Barefoot.
  • I'm thinking the price range of a Casita trailer is the $25,000.00 range. So I don't think Casita's builders are to concerned about a new entry into this market.
  • Looks OK - wondering if the US models will have the door on the correct side, and didn't see an AC unit.

    Rhetorical question?
  • People want better quality, lets see if they are willing to pay for it.
  • At 33,000 then add options sounds a little high. I don't know what the current price is on the Castia and Scamp they would compete against.
  • For $33k, you can buy a nice OUtdoors RV with everything. Small trailers are common in Europe and Australia. They have some good designs, but who is paying that kind of money for a little fluffed up tear drop?
