Bass Pro Shops "Deluxe Kitchen" vs Cabelas "Deluxe Kitchen"

I caught my wife buying my Christmas present today. It's great and will benefit the whole family. She bought a Bass Pro Shops Deluxe Kitchen.

Since I still have my 2 Eureka tents, I've always wanted a Deluxe Camp Kitchen from Cabelas but never could justify the price.

The 2 are really different and both have their (+)s and (-)s. I never seen the Bass Pro kitchen but will here shortly. Has anyone actually compared the two. They're the same price right now.

He's what I'm thinking.

I like the Bass Pro shops kitchen as it lets you use the middle table top and the sink together as the sink is a hard plastic tub. It allows you to put a 1 gallon water dispenser over the sink so that you can wash hands and dishes easier. It also allows the dish drainer to go beside the sink. The downside compared to the Cabelas kitchen is that the sink is smaller and without drain. I have seen "Cabelas" kitchen sinks ripping on display models and have really wrestled to get the top back on. So I'm thinking even without a drain and being smaller, the Bass Pro shops may hold up to sharper forks and pokers better, plus the convenience of have the table top and sink available at the same time.

I like that Cabalas kitchen has 2 canvas shelf bags systems compared to the Bass Pro Shops 1, but the shelves are shorter where larger items won't fit easily.

I like that Cabelas Kitchen offers 2 latern hooks and a top shelf, but Bass Pro Shops Kitchen offers a backsplash with hooks and small spice/bottle shelves.

I like that Bass Pro Shops kitchen offers a paper towel holder while the Cabelas does not.

I like that the Bass Pro Shops kitchen offers a lower center grating shelf for larger, taller items that Cabelas kitchen shelf won't fit, but Cabelas has that extra right hand canvas shelf bag system that Bass Pro doesn't.

I like that Cabelas Camp Kitchen has a solid hard surface right hand upper shelf while the Bass Pro Shops Kitchen has a grating shelf. Perhaps to keep splashes and food on the ground?

I like that the Bass Pro Shops Kitchen is only 36 lbs while the Cabelas Kitchen is a Hefty 53 lbs !!

Also the Bass Pro Shops Kitchen has a divider between the Stove and Sink to keep grease splatter off the sink and table that the Cabelas kitchen doesn't have.

I really think it's a toss up and am really starting to prefer the Bass Pro Shops Kitchen.

However I'd like to know good and bad about each with ACTUAL USE, and how they compare against each other in ACTUAL USE.

As you can tell, we do most of our cooking outside when it's nice out, even though we have a fully featured kitchen (as nice as our homes) in the camper.

Thanks for your help.

Normally I wouldn't question a gift but ultimately, this is a gift the whole family will benefit from so I'd like to get the best one. She would agree as she didn't really now there were differences.
