IM only guessing at this.
I never heard of a set up like that from any fridge mfg. My guess would be that the previous owner was talented enough to install it in a professional manner , so it appears as if its an OEM product.
It may run a small fan in a roof vent to help cool it on hot days , it may be an emergency backup battery to run the fridge on gas in the event the house battery dies in the middle of the night . It could operate a self installed 12v interior light .
It might be wired to charge back up when driving the rig .
