Better mpg for F150 King Ranch

Bought a 2008 F150 Crew Cab King Ranch for TT. I get around 12 mpg and 19 hwy. Thinking adding a 3.5" exhaust system and add a chip to truck. Did this to a 3/4 ton pulling a 5th wheel and got better mpg.Moved to Tow Vehicle forum from DIY.

I think we should ban the use of marketing terms... I.e.: 1/2 ton, heavy 1/2, 3/4 ton, 1 ton.... Including the numbers attached to them... I.e. 150/1500, 250/2500 etc...Additionally, omit any and all brand recognition....Only reference our tow vehicl...
