Bearing Seal help

I have a 2011 Cherokee Grey Wolf 28A+KS, that weighs about 5800lbs dry. I have a hub that was pretty darn hot when I checked it after driving 200 miles back home. I need to get in there and replace the bearing seal and repack the bearings.
I have all the original paperwork for the trailer, and on most of it, they circled or marked the different items that were installed on the owner's manuals since most list multiple different items. Well, the Lippert Axle manual shows about 15 different axles, but they didn't mark which was installed! :( So, for those that might know, would a trailer weighing in at 5800lbs probably have dual 3500# axles, or are they the 5200 or 6000# axles?
I need that info to be able to get the right bearing seal. Anyone here have the same trailer or one similar that could tell me which axles come on it?

    I'll bet you're right. I changed my plain cargo trailer hubs to electric brake ones, Dexter hubs/axles, guess what's inside..china bearing and like you said, both of the large inners looked like eggs. I bought new NTN's, a marked difference in the race surface and the bearing cages were round.

    Forgot to update this. I changed out the bearing before a trip on memorial day weekend. Turns out that the damn inside bearing was out of round....or had a couple of damaged bearings causing it to really look out of round. No spindle damage at all...no scoring, no nothing. I bought new bearings at NAPA, pulled out my green grease (I can't remember the name of it)....and took care of it. Not an issue since, and I check every hub at each stop just to make sure there isn't any issues. No idea what happened to that bearing. There was PLENTY of grease still in there.

    To get the right seal measure the seal surface also. A couple thousandts makes a big differeance. a mistake I made. Mine has the lable with the weight of axle.

    There should also be a label on the trailer giving the per axle GAWR.

    The heat could have been a mis-adjusted brake. I would change all bearings and just take the old seal off and get new ones.

    Thank you guys for all of the advice. I probably will pull them and replace like Dtaylor says.
    I will say...I said hot....the hub wasn't hot enough to cause me to pull my hand away, but it was definitely hot enough to be uncomfortable to leave it on there more than about 8 seconds or so. The other hubs were barely even warm (I check them every time we stop)

    First, don't re-pack the old bearings, replace them. (on the wheel that was hot) If they have run hot at all, they probably have small pits etc and may cause you problems down the road. Once you get them out, any auto parts place can match the numbers on the race part of the bearing. Same for the seal. There are generally only a few different ones
