geekyguru, when freezing temps are predicted fill your fresh water tank and use that. disconnect your water hose and store empty. I have been using my TT this past week as extra housing with my grown children visiting; I went to TT as a hideaway from commotion in house with kids and grandbaby on a different schedule. Using the freshwater tank worked so that I had plenty of water and didn't have to worry about it freezing when I was running heat inside. I did find hot water seemed to cool more between water heater and shower, so it didn't last as long, but otherwise that seemed to do the trick. You can hook hose back up or refill fresh tank when temps rise above freezing, since we usually don't have prolonged periods of freezing weather.
