- towproExplorerOn front, install mount to bed with the factory bed bolt but leave loose. Now you have both hands to play with back plate. :)

That's a pretty common policy for automotive accessory manufacturers, but it's normally referred to a MAP Policy (minimum advertised pricing policy)
TOrklift invented their own term for it. (RPP)
Non ethical sellers violate MAP all the time on ebay and Amazon, and it makes it really hard for brick and mortar businesses, who provide end user support (unlike many fleabay and amazon sellers) to stay afloat.
Here's the most epic take on MAP pricing: FASS Fuel Systems "Map Pricing Violation Warning"
Another one: FASS Fuel Systems - Map Pricing Violation Warning Follow Up

When I went from SRW to the 2018 dually I thought I would need new rear Torklifts. No, new fronts. Oh thank God, I was dreading that fishwire job. I had already bought longer bolts. I don't know what they were thinking....hold the back up plate with one hand, the mount with the other and start the nut with my mouth?? I used needle nose vice grips to hold the bolt.
But yeah, the welded on nut only works one way. I used the vice grips again to hold that back up strap to start the bolt. - towproExplorerMy 2015 ram had the fish bolt style front mounts, but the Right front did not fit. They sent me a clamp on for RF.
I pulled mounts for my 18. I called to ordered new fishbolts for LS. I had to send pictures. It turns out they changed mounts for the truck, they used same part number but changed mounts. Now both are clamp on frame type. On LF clamp on mount, pay attention to bars that go behind frame. 1 has nut welded to it. If you don't have the nut facing out and use short bolt, the bolt will hit a line that runs along the mount area. - towproExplorerback when I bought my first load of torklift stuff, you could shop around for price, but Torklift eliminated that option back on 2/14/15

E-Trailer does sell Torklift Products
So does Hitch Source
Find which ones you want then Goggle them and compare pricing/shipping
Really.....I just ordered over $1000.00 of Torklift products from E-Trailer today! Front tie downs and a 20K Superhitch.
You might want to do proper research before you post something like that.
Brad, they can get all of the Torklift stuff you need and they’re at least as competitive as Tweetys and yes I did my online comparison shopping.
Lol, what's wrong with his post?? #grumpyoldmen.....
#readingisFUNdamental - TxGearheadExplorer III checked my toolbox junk drawer and found 2 fish wires. Both the same. Both looked like the Curt 1/2" wires.
Beats me what I'm thinking. - Grit_dogNavigator
