Well the time has come to replace my truck Battery, I tested the volts coming out of the Alternator it's putting out 14.5 volts I also cleaned the terminals. thru the process of elimination the batter...

Batteries are very tricky to test and for years I have been using 50 amp load tester, who sometimes is not giving full test.
But Solar is proving tricky as well. I had battery going flat on my roadster. I recharged it and Solar show 300 CA on 1000 amp-rated battery. Yet 5l engine crank on it just fine.
Drove the car a bit, so the battery was recharged few more times and now it shows 800 CA.
The tester sends high-amp spike, so good clamping is important.
