Has anyone installed a heater vent up neer the bedroom on a bigfoot 9'6 2500.I have 2 vents neer the floor and would like another one up neer the bedroom. We camp 4 seasons and would like another vent up neer the bed.Im not sure exctly how i would duct it.Even a small one would be ok to help the chill off. With a newborn daughter id like to limit the temp swings and cycling of the heater.

I couldn't imagine having a vent up there. When my heater kicks on I'm kicking the covers off me until it turns off. Wife & I sleep much better in a cooler inviorment. Guess thats why we live in the PNW.

Heat rises snd I doubt you will notice a difference. Is your newborn going to sleep in the bed with you? I would buy a Cat heater and never worry about it again.

Our 30C1002 has one on the driver side. I don't think it works all that well as it is a long flex tube that snakes somehow around the bathroom. Being flex duct it is has very high resistance so not much air gets back that far, probably 90% of the air goes to the floor vents. I haven't figured out how to route wires around the bathroom, a duct would be like to impossible. I'd look into a small 12v fan.

I'm not sure how you would duct it, but my BG10.4E has a duct up there and it is a nice addition if you can figure it out. My 9.6 did not have one, like yours. Another thing I wanted to do on the 9.6 is put a small duct into the bathroom. That looked quite doable.

I have found that the heat rises to the cab over and having a vent up there would make my bed a sauna.
