Blue Ox Sway Pro Opinions?

Just a final follow up, I have taken this camper from RI to South Carolina and back, as well as multiple shorter camping trips in MA, RI, and CT. Going up to NH later this week as well. The rig performs perfectly, no sway, no issues at all. Truck could have more power of course, but it gets the job done and has held together. Thanks all for input, the blue ox setup is awesome!

I have my appt to get everything fitted and set up next Tuesday! I installed a tekonsha P3 brake controller so I should be good to go next week! Also bought a new memory foam mattress for the master as well as a 32" LCD/DVD. Can't wait to pick up the camper and get it ready for the season!!!

Hey thanks guys I got it I have air bags on the truck but I did what they said and dropped it to the minimun of 5 pounds.I was an inch and a half lower at the rear I know they say not to use the air bags but just for fun I ran them up 45 pounds to set the rear truck height I wonder if that wopuld affect anything if so I will just lower them and be done the front is fine with out the air bags at 45

Don't get hung up on rear ride height on your truck. Springs are supposed to compress.

Instead, look at the front fenders. Measure the gap to the tires without trailer, and also with trailer but without weight distribution. You want to restore at least half the difference when you hook up the bars. If you can get the front down to its non-trailer height, great but half is fine too.

If you need to add more weight distribution, you need to shorten up your bars by one chain-ling. Hitch height does little for changing weight distribution.

Ok I'm new here I have the new version Blue ox sway pro 1500.Here's the problem I followed the instructions to the letter.I can only go to 5 links of chain and there is flex but my 2013 Ford F250 still drops in the rear 1 to 1 and 1/2 inches.I raised the head and that did nothing but put the front of the trailer higher.Any assistance would be great.
