Unless the dealer agreed for that before the deal was made, I'd say the dealer has no obligation to do that for you.. And $500 sounds about right to me.. :)

We had not bought the trailer at that time and asked that the table/chairs be changed to a booth dinette. We were told it would cost $500 plus labor. Isn't a booth dinette like a downgrade, no?

If you buy a trailer off the lot, with table and chairs you paid for them

If you ordered a TT with the dinette it may have cost less than what you bought on the lot.

If you want to trade your table and chairs for a dinette, then to change it would be considered a renovation to what is already there and would cost you the money.

Dealers are not in business to do things for nothing. If you had wanted a dinette then you should have only considered TT with one.

Sorry but the dealer is correct this time.
