Yesterday when we bought our 2015 Heritage Glen 302FK travel trailer, we asked that the table and chairs be changed to a booth dinette. We were told it would cost us $500 plus labor. I was surprised...

I am curious with you who have a table and chairs: what keeps the chairs from moving around when you are traveling and if they are attached to the floor wouldn't that be a pain if you wanted to move them around.
To the OP, I would suggest that you stay with the as is situation and if there is not storage under the benches, make some yourself

The table is screwed to the floor. The chairs have belts attached to the floor.
We have decided to leave the table and chairs for now and see how it goes. Maybe we will end up liking them after all. Who knows.
