Brighter LED replacements.

I got mine from ebay. The key is to get the 5050 panels since they are almost 3x the brightness for the same size panel. I did have to put some hot glue in the connector to get the wires to stay in the right spot.

I used both panels and cob style. Where I wanted more diffused lighting I used cobs. My fixture has lenses that diffused the panel light pretty well

I think that 30-5050 LEDs will be quite a bit brighter than the 921 bulb. Also, the 921 is a pretty small bulb. Make sure that the 30-5050 light is not too big physically. Another good reason to buy a couple before buying enough for your rig.

Depends who you ask. I have seen specs that say 200 and others that say 400, and others that are somewhere in between. Personally I don't trust any lumen spec.

I am using these 921 style http://www.ledtrailerlights.com/rv/RV-T10-48FP.htm in my cargo trailer. They have a lifetime warranty. I've had them 2 years and no failures.

These don't use tape like all the other flat panels I've seen use, so they are easy to change out of you want something different later on.

I put my 48 1210 panels in years ago and I find them a good match for the original. We found them overbearing and used 9 LED cobs in the double fixtures on the ceiling.

Were I to do it again I would go with all cobs instead of panels due to ease of install and especially removal. They are so inexpensive that if you change your mind the tape is a pain to remove. Some like what they got and have a hard time getting the tape to stick.

Ease of installation aside, there are other considerations. Type of fixture and lens seem to have a affect on preference. My fixtures have a curved metal reflector and a clear lens. The clear lens has a additional lens that intensifies and projects the light downward. So a cob diffuses sided to side, The reflector makes use of the emitters on the back and the extra lens makes better use of the emitters on the bottom. A nice even light everywhere.

A panel in the same fixture diffuses little and directs most of the light straight down through the extra lens. A very bright spotlight.

I've seen people with the frosted lens prefer panels because the lens diffuses better and the light being directed straight down helps illuminate the area below better.

You would need a Cob style with more emitters since some of them are pointed away from the lens, especially if there is no reflector.

Like tenbear, I replaced my 921's with 36-1210 LED panels from 2011_led on Ebay.
I ordered different warm white and bright white panels before deciding on the ones I have. The 36-5050 bright white panel went into the outside hitch light and the 36-1210 bright white went into the range hood. The lights over the bed are 24-1210 warm white panels, DW thought the 36-1210's were too bright.
If you can find them try a 4000K panel, it looks like more of a pure white color vs the yellowish tint of a warm white or blue tint of a cool white.

You say you want BRIGHTER lights.
I have ordered from ebay and others over the last few years.
Mixed results with most of them about the same yellow lights as the regular incandescent.
If you really want bright this might save you a lot of time.
