I purchased LEDs for the entire TT from M4 Products and do not regret it.

When we did our LED conversion 3 years ago I used an Ebay store that was recommended by members here on the forum as there are many posts with great info on this subject. All the LEDs we purchased were in the 3K spectrum that gave nearly the same warm light produced by the incandescents they replaced and were brighter to boot. No failures to report thus far, purchased a few from US stores where prices were several times higher only to find that these were also made in China. One of my favorite mods as we prefer to camp off the grid.

Sorry guys, yes there is a lot of great info on this topic in the forums, it is what inspired me to look at this mod. What is frustrating is that there does not seem to be (as near as I can tell) a way to match an Incandescent to an equal powered LED so you end up with the same Lumens/Lux you had before. I was hoping someone had some input on what size LED bulbs you used and if they were same/more/less light vs the originals.
As near as I can tell (and this is partly guesswork):
1) warm white is about 10% darker than standard white and is more natural looking
2) 42 LED's would be brighter than a standard t10 921 bulb (not sure by how much)
3) 20-30 LED would be close to the same Lumens as near as I can tell

What you are looking for is a CP (candle power) to lumen chart. It may exist now, but not last time I looked. Lumen is the new standard and what any tested LED is measured against. It's a simple conversion I would think to list out A=B. Maybe not..

Yes. I recommend M4 LED bulbs as well. They have a few styles to choose from. RVGeeks have a good comparison. Steve at M4 will help you pick the right bulbs if you need help. You might experiment with a couple bulbs first before replacing them all. That's what I did. Of course, my wife's approval drove the decision.

Look at the wattage. For incandescent figure 10 lumens per watt. For cheap LEDs (ebay) figure 40 lumens per watt. For quality LEDs from M4 or Super Bright they list the lumens.

These are the M4 LED's I used for the majority of my TT. They are very similar in color and seem be maybe a little brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs.
