That's what I did, too. I ordered a 6-pack of bulbs and installed them. DW and I checked them out that night, and she gave her approval. She's more picky with color temperature than I am. I ordered another pack the next day.

Someone on here turned me on to M4 Products LED's and Ive replaced all in my trailer with 3200 Kelvin units. These appear to be higher than normal quality lamps. The color is virtually identical to the incandescent #194 only a touch brighter. Very happy with them!

We converted ours twice, once to the warmer colors and then we changed some to the brighter colors. I have recently added an extra bright four bulb LED array over the table.

Even when I purchased the LED lamps with the most available segments the TT is not as bright as I would like. However, the LEDs are much better than the incandescent TT lamps and I would never go back but the wattage is limited compared to the 120 volt LED bulbs I use at home.

Lately my I saw an LED shop light that was very bright that I may try.

I will admit that when sitting around the camp fire I like nothing brighter than a candle lantern but inside the TT I like it bright. :)

I have not had any issues with interference with my television though some folks have.

I also found the 10 and 20 LED bulb packs shipped from overseas and sold on eBay cheap enough to experiment with.

Nope. I get what RoyF is saying: When comparing the Kelvin temperatures, the "cool" lights are actually warmer, the "warm" lights are actually cooler. Kind of counter-intuitive! :)

I wonder if that depends on who's marketing the lights? I didn't have any confusion when I bought ours.

Sure did, this will be our 5 year since our full interior conversion to LED lighting. Even back then this was a popular topic here on the forum, I just purchased from an Ebayer that was highly recommended by a fellow forum member. We RV mostly off the power grid and after the conversion it felt like we had added another battery since our DC power consumption was cut in half.

We ordered all our LEDs in the 3.5K range to mimic the incandescent lamps we were replacing, color emitted was spot on and they were much brighter too. Another significant bonus, particularly when most of our RVing is in the four corner states where sunshine is abundant, is that they run significantly cooler. On a warm day you could really notice the incandescents beaming down.

It is definitely personal choice when it comes to color of light, even the color on a tv screen. I have helped people adjust the lighting/color on home theater setups and the variance of what people see as good is tremendous. Use the color that suits you. I prefer the daylight variety.

Yes, we replaced all of ours with LED when we added solar. The LED lights use a fraction of energy from what the regular bulbs used. It was expensive but in the long run, it will pay off in energy savings and battery usage.
