Build Sheet by VIN

Can anyone run a VIN for me to find out the build options for a vehicle I'm looking at?

Thanks,
Francis

Maybe what make you are looking for would help.

I believe Chrysler/FIAT or whatever the parent brand is these days and FoMoCo are the only companies that provide window stickers to previously sold vehicles online and are self service/easily accessible to the consumer. To me it's a great help when shopping.

For Ford go to www.researchmaniacs.com and use their Window Sticker page. You pop in the VIN and it spits out the Window Sticker for the vehicle.
Could not get it to work for me, my 2000 might be to old.

Yep, farthest back you can go is 2007, and even then it's only some 2007's will work. Nice thing is Ford will produce a sheet with the factory installed equipment, and indeed did for my 1995 F-150. Just send Customer service an E-mail with your VIN if it's pre 07.

Infiniti however, couldn't or wouldn't produce jack squat for my G35. "Uh, we built it I think."

  • When I was looking at used Chevy vehicles I went to a GM dealer with the vin number and they did it right in the service department.
