Actually lowers the weight on the rear and makes so you don't have to mess with it getting in and out of your camper. I have zero complaints with this setup. My Curt front receiver hitch which bolted into factory holes cost me 115 dollars delivered to my front door and about a hour to bolt on. I put my 3000 eu generator on it and other gear.
I also have a front hitch for a cargo carrier. It works great.
