Center of gravity

Looking at a shadow cruiser 850 for our short bed chevy 2500. Very limited info I can find, but it seems that it was suitable for a shortbed

Center of gravity from the documentation is 40" back. Measuring to my axle is 40.5 or so. Wish it was a little further forward, but trying to get confirmation that it should be good.

Label weight of trailer is 717kg and we intend to tow our boat potentially with an extension if need be.
  • Weight your empty axles and compare to their rating on door sticker.
Seems your camper weight will 100% go on rear axle. Add ca 200 kg of water and supplies and depend of trailer tongue weight you can expect another 100-300kg.
Comparing the numbers is straight math.
  • You should be just fine.
I would highly recommend a Big Wig Hillwig rear sway bar and airbags with separate control valves.
